Summer Tours are usually three things for sure. Hot AF, a really, really good time and a real treat, as typically the biggest artist in the world like to tour during summer. This holds true, especially in the hip hop genre.

The Dazed & blazed Tour just recently kicked off in Detroit, Michigan, and it promises to be a hip-hop stoner’s paradise for sure. The tour is co-headlined by Wiz Khalifa and the ‘Black Beatles’ themselves Rae Sremmurd. The guest rappers appearing with them on the underbill are Lil Skies & O.T. Genasis.

Wiz Khalifa aka Cameron Jibril Thomaz is a rapper, singer-songwriter, and actor actually born in North Dakota, but wound up in Pennsylvania. He is best known for his debut single on Atlantic Records, “Black and Yellow”, which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album for Atlantic, Rolling Papers, was released in March, 2011. He followed that album with O.N.I.F.C. on December, 2012, which was backed by the singles “Work Hard, Play Hard” and “Remember You”. Wiz released his fifth album Blacc Hollywood on August 18, 2014, backed by the lead single “We Dem Boyz”. In March 2015, he released “See You Again” for the soundtrack of the film Furious 7 and the song peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 non-consecutive weeks. Wiz just released ‘Rolling Papers 2’ this July and it debuted at NUMBER 2 on the Billboard 200 charts.

Rae Sremmurd was formed by brothers Slim Jxmmi & Swae Lee. They come from Tupelo, Mississippi. In January 2015, the duo released their debut album SremmLife, which was certified platinum by the RIAA. In August 2016, the duo released their second album, SremmLife 2. The duo is best known for their single “Black Beatles” which peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, while also charting internationally in the top ten in many countries, as well as ‘No Type’. Their third studio album, SR3MM was released in May, 2018, and served as a triple-album.

On the underbill are Lil Skies and O.T. Genasis.
